I finally wrote my entry for my work blog about Sundance.
Something I did not say:
For me, Sundance is a bit of a demographic nightmare. I am there as a doc filmmaker (because my job paid me to be) so I have all of these commitments. But all the black filmmakers are hanging out and partying together at Black House and I have/want to make time for that. (Yes, there is an actual Black House.) And there are some fiction filmmaker friends who are going to totally different panels and I want to hang out with them as well. I always leave feeling a bit like I did not do as much as I would have liked. Someday I will figure this thing out.
