I have been pretty busy this week since it is my first week back at work. More on that this weekend but it has been good, really good.
For now, I will simply put this idea out there. On Sunday night, I watched the only show I love unconditionally, Grey's Anatomy. The show is well written and great. But really, the guys on it are really hot!!
This is Eric Dane, my big, big crush. He played Mark a few episodes ago and if my letter writing campaign works, he will be back. I have loved him since ... Charmed ... there I admit it. I watch it. How could I watch such a crap show like Charmed? Because the men, who usually become Alyssa Milano's boyfriends in real life, are really hot. The last yummy guy to do this was Julian McMahon from Nip/Tuck fame. People asked, "Where did he come from?" Well, Charmed that's where and I'm not ashamed to say I knew it.
I had read somewhere that Chris O'Donnell was joining the cast of Grey's Anatomy for a few episodes as a love interest for Ellen Pompeo, aka the annoying protagonst of the show, Meredith. I was pretty skeptical. Chris O'Donnell doesn't do it for me. He never really has. So putting him in a role clearly meant for a hottie seemed strange. Then, I saw him. He is cute now. Really cute. Cute in a way he never has been before. What is in the water over there in Grey's Anatomy land? Men go from ordinary to extraordinary. Men you did not even think about.
The creator of the show, Shonda Rhimes is a hero of mine, a black woman kicking ass in the entertainment industry! She rocks! Anyway, she has good taste in men and knows exactly what she likes her men to look like. You know she goes into meetings with these guys and is like, "You're gonna go to the gym and get some hot facial hair if you want to be on my show." And of course they oblidge!
Thank you readers for letting me objectify men in this manner. It feels good. Now I am off to sleep.
Oh, and one more random Grey's comment non-related to the opposite sex. George's girlfriend, the hot Latina girl who was in the Broadway show, Spamalot, has some meat on her bones and it's nice to see!
Did you know that he is going to be in the next X-men, along with little cutie-pie Shawn Ashmore?
I completely thought of you and L-Brit when I saw Chris!!!!! Its totally the facial hair and the fake clean living of Seattle.

I basically like george's new girlfriend, like that storyline, like her looks, etc. but i did not quite get the "george makes my world stop" speech. exactly when did she fall in love with him? It's been 0 to 60 w/her. But i'm willing to see where they go with it, because it has some good elements, that storyline.

I read a funny quote from Julian McMahon once during an interview about NIP/TUCK: "I introduced myself, and then said, ‘Look, I hope you’ll accept my apologies beforehand if I get aroused. And I hope you’ll accept my apologies if I don’t."
P.S.
I confess...I was once a secret "Charmed" watcher.

tuckergurl, please make this the new tagline for your blog: "Oh men men men men men men- Spring Fever is alive."

I actually might make that my tagline. I'll think it over. Oh and Julian McMahon could not get any hotter if he tried. Geez!

Jacobs! That would be a perfectly lovely tagline! Whats wrong with my hormonal homage to the lesser sex and the vernal equinox?
