I was about to step out of the office when I saw this article from The New York Times online:
"With his wife at his side, Gov. James E. McGreevey announced today that he is gay and would resign out of concern over the impact on the New Jersey governor's office of his disclosure of a sexual relationship with a man. 'I engaged in an adult consensual affair with another man,' Governor James E. McGreevey said."
Wow. I'm not sure what I'm more surprised by: the fact that he confessed something so personal or the fact that the price of this confession was his job. It really shows how homophobic our country really is. I know that blogs and newspapers everywhere are going to report this. It's sad to me that he had to struggle with his sexuality for so long mainly due to his political aspirations. A multi-millon dollar book deal (which you know is coming) will help ease the pain though.
Your blog's recent posting are all in italics. Is that on purpose?

I figured it out. I just made a typo that jacked up my site.
