Currently I am writing down what I eat. I am doing acupuncture and with that comes some changes in my diet. See, it turns out that I am extremely anemic so now I have to get iron everywhere and anywhere I can. I have turned to Chinese Medicine mainly because it's something I have not tried and I would rather make changes to my diet than going to a hospital and get someone else's blood pumped into me.
Chinese Medicine is all about meat and right now I have to be as well. However, my friend and ex-holistic nutritionist is really pushing me away from being solely dependent on meat for the iron I need but to incorporate more beans and legumes. It's funny to watch how these two alternative medicine practices have clashed with one another in my life. The only thing they agree on is my taking two doses of iron pills a day.
